ASHGOSIOgSOJ we had to make a book in school last week. We were told to bring in a physical item.. Then they told us this was the basis of out book >_< I'd picked a little Evangelion figurine of a robot. Literally one day learning binding, idea-generating and typograhpic techniques and such and then 3 days to actually come up with our concept/story, make/illustrate a book and actually make it and MAN it took a lot outta us!! I came in on the Friday morning it was due and 3 people were asleep on the naked-model people bed/tables etc cus they'd stayed at college all night to finish..
If it's hard to tell (I didn't want to use to many words) I developed the robot into a story of it losing it's 'emotional armour' and becoming a pure human. Basically I did it on a metaphor for depression or shutting the world out, and sometimes just being touched or acknowledged by something physically can help bring you back. (Ironic since personally I got out of it with meds
I don't think this needs a warning- I chose to do 'Barbie-doll anatomy' because the focus is not on 'whoa a hot lady!' but actually being human and being able to feel y'know..Media
included various card and paper, pencil, pigment pens, white gel pen, acrylic and watercolour paints, thread for binding and probably other stuff I've forgotten..
Thank you very much *SenshiStock
